FUEL WOMEN’S FITNESS BUSINESS SUMMIT

Thursday 25 July 2019, Sydney

Friday 26 July 2019, Sydney

Big aspirations need big inspirations. We’ve got you covered.

About

We see you over there;

eyes ablaze, forging ahead, making a difference!

You’re great at your job and you’ve got so much to give.

You’re passionate, excited, and have a burning desire to create massive impact in the lives of the people you serve and lead. You’re looking for authentic ways to run a successful fitness business that creates the freedom for you to grow and develop as an individual. And you’re interested in making money, too – there’s nothing wrong with that.

Women do, and experience, business differently. You’re more likely to work more hours, to find it harder to get funding, and to be over 35 when you take the plunge into starting a business. And if you’re running your own business or someone else’s, you likely don’t ask for what you want, don’t put your hand up for help, or don’t see your voice as the powerful tool it truly is. Yet you’re a leader, you’re a lover, you’re a badass.

If you resonate with even one of these statements then FUEL is for you. Join us for a one or two day personal and professional development experience that will fire you up and set your business spirit alight.

Liz Nable

Liz Nable

Director Xtend Barre

Read Bio

Liz’s passion for entrepreneurship and business happened completely by accident. Her dream had always been to be an investigative journalist and news reader and she spent years working around the globe as a television news producer, writer and reporter, including 6 years in the news capital of the world, New York City.

It was while living in New York, just after the birth of her first child, Ruby, that Liz discovered the barre workout in 2009. ‘I took two to three classes a week and had never been fitter or stronger. I looked around that room in my first class and thought, this could be huge in Australia’.

After returning to Sydney with her husband and young family in 2011, they found themselves caught in the middle of the GFC downturn and spent the next year doing long hours at a 24 hour news desk and rethinking what the future looked like.

And so Liz returned to that small seed of a business idea, bringing the barre workout to Australia and within 6 months had opened her first Xtend Barre Studio in Mosman.

Fast forward 7 years and Liz now owns 4 Xtend Barre Studios on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, sits on a National Franchise Advisory Board, and works as a consultant helping other small business owners navigate the media and use PR opportunities to grow their business.

She is also a regular contributor to various health + wellness, business and media organisations and publications.

She was recently awarded Xtend Barre Franchisee of the Year 2018, North Shore Fitness Service of the Year 2018 & North Shore Business Person of the Year 2018.
